How to arrange a set of 3 prints

Arrange a set of 3 prints as a straight row for beds, sofas, and sideboards, with 2–3 inches between frames and all centers aligned. For narrow walls, stack them vertically. Keep the whole group about two-thirds the furniture width and hang its center at 57–60 inches.

Shop a three-print wall

Build a three-piece row from matching prints, browse every print, or start with the full Starter Drop wall art set and hang the strongest three together.

Layout 1: a straight row

A row is the safest three-print layout above a bed, sofa, desk, or sideboard. Use the same size and frame for all three pieces. Align the centers, not the tops, and keep 2–3 inches between frames.

Measure the total width before hanging. Three frames plus two gaps should land near two-thirds of the furniture width. If the row is much narrower, size up or use a larger center piece.

Layout 2: a vertical stack

Use a vertical stack for narrow walls, hallway ends, reading corners, and small offices. Keep the same 2–3 inch spacing, then hang the middle print at eye level so the full column feels balanced.

Vertical stacks work best when the artwork shares a clear palette. If one piece is much darker, put it at the bottom so the arrangement feels grounded instead of top-heavy.

Layout 3: a stepped trio

A stepped trio is more relaxed: one print slightly higher, one centered, one slightly lower. Keep the offsets small, about 3–5 inches. The layout should feel like rhythm, not a staircase.

Before you put holes in the wall, tape paper templates first. For broader mixed-wall rules, read the gallery wall guide. For choosing sizes, use the print size guide.
